Unfortunately, newbies tend to make a few common mistakes during this tight fasting schedule. On the other hand, others have learned about avoiding such mishappenings after going through a rough patch. Regardless of the scenario, anyone entering an intermittent fasting diet plan should avoid such errors at all costs, as they can prove detrimental to health. 3/10 Intermittent Fasting Mistakes (Part 1) 1. Why is Health and Fitness Important?

Often, before starting a diet, workout, or exercise, we have this question. Moreover, we keep seeing celebrities, coaches, and trainers, promoting the importance of health and fitness. Even organizations want to keep their employees physically fit. But we never get a satisfactory answer. The real reason to stay physically healthy are as follows:

Increases Energy

Improving physical fitness involves getting out of the comfort zone. It would mean changing dietary habits or exercising. Including such useful practices would burn calories, eliminate unnecessary fat, and increase the energy levels in our body. It also helps to avoid laziness and think about the best approaches towards a healthy lifestyle.

Moreover, adopting healthy food or exercise habits showcases physical results that keep us motivated to maintain physical health.

Changes Mindset

Practicing yoga, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts, brisk walking, switching to keto, paleo, low-carb diets, etc. can prove very useful for the mind. The energy released from the exercise or diet affects our mindset too. It dissolves the stress, anxiety, depression, and other negative aspects of our mind. It also replaces them with positive thoughts, motivation, and inspiration.

Therefore, it helps to change the mindset of a person with minimum efforts. Some people understand the importance of staying healthy and fit. They set life or yearly goal to keep fit by achieving higher health and fitness standards.

Improves Posture

A simple practice of not slouching while walking, sitting, or standing can improve a person's blood flow. The same happens when you sleep one side with one hand below your head and the other on your thigh. Similarly, practicing simple breathing exercises awakens the blood cells in your body and makes them active. But to breathe correctly while sitting in a cross-legged yoga pose, you need to keep your posture erect. Therefore it improves your breathing, posture, and flexibility.

Enhances Efficiency

Ensuring the essential vitamins, minerals, fats, carbs, protein, etc. improves human body efficiency. It also increases body immunity and keeps diseases at bay. Therefore, it dismisses the requirement of medicine unless they become mandatory. Besides this, maintaining nutrition and exercising can control blood pressure. A few experts suggest that walking 2000 steps every day can help you keep supple joints, improves heart condition, and burns calories.

Creates a Schedule

Staying healthy and fit throughout your life requires building better habits and following them on a strict schedule, such as having approximately 3.5-liters of water a day, exercising for an hour, and not breaking the calorie count unless it is your cheat day. Similarly, people on an intermittent fasting diet need to follow the 16/8 rule (8 hours and two meals to require calorie and 16-hours of fasting) every day.

Also, bodybuilders trying to achieve an intermediate and advanced-level physique need to burn more calories during the weekdays so they can enjoy the party on the weekend. Therefore, fitness is a lifestyle. It requires many compromises, but ultimately it provides the best results one can ask.

Motivates Others

Showcasing your physical fitness on social media helps followers to achieve the same level of success. In other words, it motivates them to stay physically fit. In addition to this, both non-followers and followers can witness significant changes in your lifestyle, behavior, appearances, etc. More importantly, it increases the current motivation level in a person. Often they tend to exercise more and improve their dietary habits to achieve better results.

Avoids Health Issues

An unhealthy person feels remorse due to their overweight. They can also experience depression, anxiety, and high stress. But a healthy and fit person avoids such health issues with ease. A fit person can steer clear of heart diseases, diabetes, asthma, back pain, arthritis, cancer, dementia, body image issues, and negative thoughts. Besides this, a healthy person can experience better sleep, flexibility, mobility, stretch, energy levels, and burn calories.

Detoxes Unwanted Elements

Becoming healthy and fit involves improving eating habits by eliminating junk food, high carb, sugar products, smoking, and alcohol. It also means adding beneficial nutrients and minerals to match your daily calorie intake and improve the physical outlook. Therefore, it helps your body to detox unwanted elements and replaces them with healthy nutrition.

During the process, activities like cycling, jogging, brisk walking, swimming, hiking, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, squash, etc. can improve your respiratory system, heart, stamina, and overall health.

Prevents Obesity

Obesity happens to people who have a higher calorie intake than their body requirements. However, calorie deficit diet and intermittent fasting can fight against it with ease. Unfortunately, following such diet plans could become very problematic for obese people as they need to avoid high sugar and carbs products and follow a calorie intake pattern. But those who go through with it witness significant fat and weight loss and experience a healthier lifestyle than others.

The best way to begin with any new diet plan is to take it slow. Start by removing high carbs and sugar. At the same time, increase the daily water consumption to 3.5-liters a day. It could vary depending on weight, height, age, gender, and other features. Once you go through these steps, start a new diet plan, and don't make self-changes. Doing so could help you avoid the drawbacks of obesity, such as chronic health problems, high blood pressure, heart diseases, asthma, cancer, and diabetes.

Improves Cholesterol Level

According to sources, a moderate level of physical activity can increase good cholesterol,i.e., high-density lipoprotein (HDL). It attains it; one needs to exercise 30-minutes for five-time a week. Optionally, vigorous activity for 20 minutes for at least three times a week could provide the same results. However, these activities should involve a partner, a physical fitness trainer, or an online fitness coach.

Therefore, staying healthy and fit is essential for many reasons. You can pick one and start working on achieving a healthy lifestyle.
